Dr. Goodman has been my psychiatrist for over 3 years. I’ve had a number of psychiatrists in my lifetime and he is undoubtedly the best of them all! He is well-informed, considerate, never pushy, and very personable. I do and will continue to recommend him to anyone seeking care in or around the Berkshires.

After struggling with ADHD for years, being brushed off by numerous MDs and NPs, I have finally found someone who addresses my concerns and makes me feel understood and that’s Dr. Goodman. He is patient, kind, incredibly intelligent and someone who truly cares about his patients. He was quick to set up a game plan for me and was willing to do anything I needed so that I could feel my best. Dr. Goodman is always available to talk, is easy to schedule appointments with and will always go the extra mile for his patients. It is rare to find a human, let alone a Doctor these days that is as warm and good- natured as Dr. Goodman. I have recommended him to multiple people and will continue to do so. Dr. Goodman is 10/10 and I’m so thankful that he has been able to help me with something that I’ve been forced to “just deal with” my whole life.

Dr. Goodman has been my psychiatrist for over two years now. He is no-nonsense, extremely intelligent and well informed, caring, accessible, organized, and has a hilarious, dry sense of humor. He takes confidentiality and security/HIPAA seriously and has solid professional boundaries. He is big on patient autonomy and input, and I’ve never felt like he was bulldozing me, which is not so easy to find in an MD. Basically, he’s a good guy and great at what he does. we just have the best conversations about everything. I’ve had lots of therapists and psychiatrists over the years and he is the best. he is the best combination of intelligence and common sense and emotional sensitivity, i’ve ever had. For example, my father has alzheimer’s; Dr. Goodman can explain all the medical particulars very clearly and then be helpful with the human spiritual side of it. What it is like to have this towering figure in your life slowly vanish before you. I am very glad i have Dr. Goodman to talk to about this and other things too.
